Job Description

An exciting Manager (Japanese-speaking) has just become available at one of the international firms based in Singapore. Your main responsibility will be providing advice to counterparties in Asia-Pacific region, in areas of cash management, FX/interest rate risk management, corporate finance, structured finance, M&A, and basic advice in accounting, taxation and internal control related with these activities.

Responsibilities:

Financial Advisory

• Manage relationship with our customers and financial institutions.
• Provide advice on treasury operations including cash-flow management, FX risk management, interest rate risk management, and corporate finance in English and Japanese.
• Provide advice on structured finance and M&A in English and Japanese.
• Provide basic advice on accounting, taxation and internal control related with financial activities in English and Japanese.
• Liaise with tax agents, regulatory agents or any other professional firm if necessary.
• Review loan agreements and other contracts with customers and financial institutions.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  

• Minimum Degree in Finance.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge and experience in cash management.
• Knowledge and experience in derivative transactions such as FX and IRS.
• Knowledge and experience in corporate finance.
• Knowledge and experience in structured finance and M&A.
• Knowledge in contracts related with financial activities.
• Knowledge in accounting, taxation, and internal control.
• Proficient in business level Japanese in addition to English to communicate with Japan HQ and Asia-Pacific counterparties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other financial and accounting software.
• Good interpersonal and strong leadership skills.
• Independent and able to seek ways to improve individual and team efficiency.
• Willing to travel regionally.
