About the role
We are looking for a Manager, Front Office to provide functional expertise and oversee the management of FX, Interest Rate risk, Investments, and intercompany funding through execution of trades and other supporting activities. This role is a great opportunity to join a solid team with notable contributions to the commercial outcomes of the business.
Reporting to the Director, Front Office, you will be handling:
Operational Excellence
Provide expertise for execution of financial products (FX, interest rates, investments).
Responsible for investing of Group\xe2\x80\x99s surplus cash in line with Group investment strategy and risk framework.
Manage and ensure adherence to financial counterparty exposures.
Manage intercompany loans and structures.
Manage and ensure adherence to policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Treasury Markets activities.
Identify areas of improvement in operational processes along the principles of improving efficiency, effectiveness and controls.
Evaluate and recommend banking products, services and platforms as appropriate.
Advisory and Analytical
Recommend and implement improvements to Group investment strategy and risk frameworks.
Provide proposals and drive strategy to business units with regards to management of financial risks (foreign exchange, interest rates, investment risk).
Develop and implement financial risk management strategies for the Group, and business units.
Drive trading bank service reviews, including review and negotiation of trading fees and rebate structures.
Keep abreast with Financial Market events, regulatory changes, market product developments and pricings.
Provide market intelligence and the insights needed to anticipate competitor actions with our client\xe2\x80\x99s impact.
Support and provide knowledge expertise in ad-hoc projects/initiatives.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in finance, accounting, CFA, CPA, MBA or certified Treasury Professional preferred.
At least 7 years of relevant treasury or market facing role in financial institution/corporates.
Proven ability to present concepts and results clearly.
A proven ability to further develop existing relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working in an international setting will be an advantage.
Excellent IT skills including the use of MS Office and Power BI well-regarded.
Advanced written and spoken English.
