Job Description


As a Manager, GL and Reporting, you will ensure proper reporting of the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s financials in compliance with IFRS standards, and alignment to group policies. You would also be assigned with projects in view of improving the overall quality of accounting within the BU.

Financial Operations, General Ledger

  • Managing the daily operations of the accounting functions of GL, Postal Cash Accounting and Statistics Reporting to IMDA
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles by understanding current and proposed legislation, IFRS and financial reporting standards in view of improving the quality of accounting processes
  • Strengthening internal controls Improve systems and procedures, and initiate corrective actions
  • Overseeing and reviewing works done by the finance team
  • Provide governance and audit for Postal Cash Accounting (Retail collections)
Reporting
  • Overseeing the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial for a subsidiary, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (i.e. IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements
  • Financial acumen and qualification (Degree, CIMA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant Finance Operations and Reporting work experience, and experienced in leading and managing team(s)
  • Have a good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards, local tax rules, GST principles and reporting requirements
  • Experience in Logistics industry is desirable, but not a must
