Job Description

HOYA Technosurgical, is a subsidiary of HOYA Corporation, established in Tokyo, Japan in 2013, which has the origin of PENTAX medical business unit in 1974 arising from the merger of former PENTAX medical business unit & Japan Universal Technologies, Inc. HOYA Technosurgical will be setting up their first overseas plant in Singapore focusing on manufacturing, research & development and sale of Chromatography Media to pharmaceutical companies.

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Head of Sales & Marketing

Main Purpose of Job:

• The Application Marketing Manager is responsible for the company\xe2\x80\x99s GTM and Brand strategy.
• He/she will also be translating the scientific/technical knowledge surrounding our products and its uses into relevant, meaningful information; and ensuring this content reaches the right customers and the right time.
• This position also plays a critical role in getting valuable customer feedback, and other market research information to the team for improvements in the areas of product quality, development, and delivery.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: Strategic Business and Marketing Planning

• Devise a high-level Go-To-Market strategy and establish Brand awareness with internal and external stakeholders including leveraging on social media.
• Collaborate across functional teams and key stakeholders to distil broad technical concepts and business strategy to structured product marketing plans.
• Engage technical functions to assess knowledge to develop robust marketing campaigns and products.
• Manage marketing lifecycles and product positioning.
• Execute marketing strategies and support the sales channels for the region.
• Prepare annual budget and manage expenditures.

Social Media Management

• Develop social media marketing plans for our products.
• Ensure the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s website is updated and accurate maintained by the webmaster.
• Periodically evaluate the site to create and improve visitors\xe2\x80\x99 web experience.
• Develop editorial calendar and content marketing strategies.
• Create and curate information \xe2\x80\x9cpackages\xe2\x80\x9d in its various forms of media, e.g. videos, demos, webinars, technical collaterals, etc. to drive content and customer education.

Customer Support

• Provide technical information and support which includes but not limited to responding to inbound enquiries and educate users and customers.
• Communicate important, complex and technical information to customers.
• Increase customer engagement with planned and timely touchpoints.
• Structurally solicit and evaluate customer satisfaction levels and provide timely feedback to product teams to help shape development and delivery approaches.

Collation and Dissemination of Market Information

• Engage in market research, data collection and reporting in a range of factors that could impact our business, i.e. market and industry trends, customer, competition and environmental information

Education

• Tertiary education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology or Mass Media.
• Post graduate qualifications in Marketing preferred.
  

Experience

• 3-5 years of Biology/Chemical Analysis-related industry experience
• Marcom experience in scientific industry preferred.
• Engaging in product-focused conversations with technical functions, conducting product interviews and user interviews.
• Planning, justifying and managing marketing budgets.
• Stakeholder management.
• Collaboration with other cultures and overseas offices.

• Japanese or Chinese-speaking highly preferred.
