Provide support, expertise and consultation to all departments on WSH related matters
Develop and Implement WSH implementation plan to improve WSH performance and achieve organization targets.
Develop WSH capability (Eg: Training) to ensure that the Business Unit is supported to meet its accountabilities
Upkeep Business Unit WSH Implementation Plan including ensuring Bus’ development of procedures and training to support the organisation Certifications on bizSAFE Level 3.
Conduct accident/incident investigation, recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct inspection (Eg: Workplace/SDC’s Development Projects) to rectify any unsafe practices & conditions.
Analyse performance trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Prepare for SSRC Meeting.
Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, safety, engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant occupational safety, health and environmental experience
Possess knowledge and practical experience relating to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and other statutory requirements/code of practices
Other professional health and safety training certificate and/or prior construction safety experience will be an added advantage
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organization skills.
Good team player, self-motivated with strong ability to multitask and able to handle fast-paced projects
Able to collaborate with relevant external authorities and parties
