Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall risk environment of the bank, and integration of risk management considerations in key decision-points to achieve the growth and profitability objective
• Lead and implement framework across the bank, which includes ongoing identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of key exposures and risks, and the management of these key risks
• Ensure an understanding of key risks and exposures among management, and facilitate responsible and effective risk-taking in line with risk appetite and tolerance
• Work with business units in the identification of target markets and setting of industry risk acceptance criteria to drive portfolio construction and re-balancing
• Support the senior management in risk oversight and governance through periodic reporting to senior management
• Conduct risk awareness training.
• Coordinate the internal and external audit projects.
• Conduct gap analysis of new regulations and Bank's established policies, processes, guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Facilitate and review the Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA)
• Work with IT, data owners, data stewards and business intelligence team to assist in data governance related issues and effective solutions
• Review the inputs provided by business users and project managers, and ensure the quality, on metadata and data classification, as part of the development life cycle
