We adopted agile and design-thinking principles in delivering our projects at work and play a key role in enabling the organization strategic goals. This role will expose you to how Actuarial could take customer-centric perspectives and iterative prototyping approach to solve complex problem more effectively. You will also get to apply new technology and data analytics to automate actuarial work as well as providing impactful insights to our business partners. As part of Actuarial Department, you will work in collaboration with business stakeholders within the organization (including Digital Transformation Office) as well as external ecosystem/insurance partners (within Singapore as well as across regional countries) to deliver innovative and competitive propositions in meeting emerging customer needs of today's digital economy. You will be responsible in the following area: Collaborate with others in Agile team structure to understand customer needs, devise innovative product proposition and help drive product prototyping & implementation (by applying design thinking framework) Manage and price the risk of innovative products by balancing product desirability, feasibility, and viability Engage potential partners in digital ecosystem across target markets in ideating and recommending relevant new business models Leverage machine learning and advance analytics technique to provide new insights to the business as well as to develop dynamic pricing models in personalizing customers' usage and behaviours Diverse pricing exposure to variety of products across various distribution channels Qualifications Good progress in actuarial qualifications with either US, UK, or Australia Actuarial Institutes Minimum 5 years of working experience, with at least 3 years' exposure in direct companies and/or Insurtech Exposure to regional insurance markets will be advantageous Advanced statistical or machine learning modeling proficiency will be advantageous Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills Confident to challenge status quo and take risk to drive towards maximising results Adaptable and open to dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
