Singtel Group Internal Audit plays a crucial role within the Singtel Group by providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manager, Investigations to join our team at Singtel. As the Manager, Investigations, you will be responsible for conducting investigations related to fraud or whistleblower complaints, as well as assisting with other adhoc internal audit projects. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Group Internal Audit (Financial & Operational Audits and Investigations), you will play a key role in managing and preventing fraud and corruption matters impacting Singtel and its subsidiaries.

Make an Impact by

• Conducting independent investigations into allegations of fraud involving Singtel personnel or agents, securing appropriate evidence and facilitating criminal prosecutions.
• Handling multiple investigations simultaneously, prioritizing workload to ensure timely resolution.
• Identifying weaknesses in processes and internal controls that may lead to fraudulent activity, recommend actions, and follow up on implementation.
• Drafting high-quality and concise investigation reports.
• Assisting in developing and delivering fraud awareness programs to staff, contractors, agents and any representative across Singtel and its subsidiaries, as applicable.
• Managing Singtel Group\'s Whistleblower hotline and enforce the zero-tolerance policy against fraud and unethical actions.
• Acting as a liaison with law enforcement agencies and provide updates on cases.
• Assisting in managing external vendors for outsourced services including whistleblower hotline, data preservation and computer forensic services, including timely review of performance.
• Staying updated on market-leading fraud and forensic tools and share knowledge with the team.
• Preparing and provide regular reports to Top Executive Management, including timely preparation of reporting for quarterly Audit Committee paper and updates to Fraud Risk Committee.

Skills for Success

To excel in this role, you should have:

Education and Qualifications:

• A recognised bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, or related field. Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk or analytical methodologies are desirable.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 4-5 years of investigation and forensic account work experience in Big 4 audit firms
• Police liaison experience, CAD or CPIB is desirable

Technical / Professional Skills:

• Practical knowledge of fraud investigation, prevention, risk assessment, and reporting.
• Strong interviewing skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to articulate findings clearly and concisely, with a good understanding of Singapore criminal legislation.
• Good knowledge of Excel or other similar data analytics and forensic tools.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification is preferable

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
