Location: Jurong East (Near MRT)

Working Hours: 9am - 6pm (Mon-Fri)

Salary Range: Up to $7,800.00 per month

This is a Permanent role.

We are looking for highly motivated individual to join us in supporting the agile building of robust blueprint software solutions within the eCommerce product development area by analyzing, translating, filtering and prioritizing demands originating from the respective user communities and business units.

As an IT Consultant, your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Be an EMH eCommerce solution domain expert and respective integration expert in terms of system logic, data flow and data quality
• Previous technical consultant/solution consultant experience is mandatory; preferably in automobile industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills is required, as the role has cross geographical liaisons with business counterparts
• Actively participate in relevant workshops and meetings, and conduct GAP analysis together with relevant Product Owners
• Match the requirements with system design and relay back to the product development teams in a clear and structured way to enable them to develop accordingly
• Prior experience on applications that interface with cross functional downstream/upstream systems for data
• Provide consultancy of system blueprint, logic, data flow, data expectation and data impact on business operation to rollout team
• Strong technical problem solving and debugging skills, able to perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting for EMH
• Familiar with developing application, relational data bases, computer networking, Cloud computing, SaaS, web services and ecommerce IT architecture
• Preferably strong technical understanding to do high level feasibility analysis on new features for the product
• Preferably strong understanding of API architecture, request payloads and response payloads e.g. JSON
• Preferably strong understanding of micro services driven development, SPA applications, message bus architecture e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Kafka
• Preferably hands-on experience with Postman, automating API calls for other interfaces to gauge 3rd party APIs

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor Degree Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering
• 7+ years experience working in software development projects a significant part of which in an IT / Business consultant role
• Proven track record in developing and implementing digital projects
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience within automotive field of business preferred
