Responsible for developing a total enterprise capability framework to achieve strategic and current operational objectives. Responsible for defining and fulfilling current and future operational capability requirements for all business towers, i.e. Insurance Services, and Enterprise Services. Responsible for defining the governance over the management of various technical knowledge and expertise across the organization
Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops overall technical capability development strategy to ensure performance and productivity of newly onboarded or redeployed employees
  • Develops and provides governance of technical capability teams across the GSSC
  • Defines and monitors performance parameters that need to be monitored post capability development intervention
  • Defines centralized and strategic governance over established technical teams
  • Reviews all technical capability development processes, including process training, internships and the like to ensure 1) relevance to the business; 2) consistency of implementation across business towers and; 3) positive impact on business productivity
  • Consults with stakeholders to appropriately define and develop capability improvement interventions to enhance performance meet productivity targets of the production team
  • Designs and manages capability development approaches and techniques and selects the appropriate approach vis-à-vis business tower needs.
  • Establishes job-based tollgates to intermittently measure impact of CapDev initiatives to performance
  • Delivers, facilitates effective leadership development programs
  • Defines governance for certification process of subject matter experts as learning practitioners in the business towers, under designated technical teams (where applicable)

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

  • 7 years relevant experience

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Instructional Design certification preferred but not required

  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Advanced knowledge of training practices and processes
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of project management
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of general insurance or shared services functions
