Looking for a Logistics Manager with experience in global logistics operations and business transformation for one of the world's top container shipping lines.

Our Client is a world leader in maritime transportation industry. As one of the world's top container shipping lines, they aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for a Logistics Manager to be based at their HQ in Singapore.

Description

You will be reporting to the Head of Department directly. The majority of your responsibilities will include adopting technologies and collaborating with professionals from the IT department to implement continuous effective systems for logistics processes.

Your responsibilities include:

  • To enhance the capabilities and processes of global logistics systems
  • To enhance operations efficiency and effectiveness by implementing technologies and adding customer value
  • Develop new and emerging technologies, as well as partnerships, to keep the logistics industry abreast of the latest technology trend
  • To update various stakeholders on the strategy, adjustments, and progress of the project on a consistent basis
  • Uses analytic methods and tools to Track KPIs and report on supply chain performance and also understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes
  • Establishment of new initiatives and innovations in logistics
  • Assessing pain points, issues, and risks and identifying appropriate digital solutions
Profile

You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or related field and experience in global logistics operations and business transformation. You must possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills; with the ability to work as a team in a multi-level and fast-paced organisation. It is essential that you have the reporting and analytics capabilities and are familiar with the processes of supply chain such as inventory planning, logistics domain and warehouse management.
