Role Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Platform and Strategic Initiatives team, an integral part of the Group Managed Investments team (Wealth Management) within Standard Chartered Bank.
Group Managed Investments team covers Funds, Alternative Investments and ETFs and owns the approval process for these products across the retail and private bank segments. The Platform and Strategic Initiatives team in turn supports the Managed Investments team for primarily non due diligence matters.
This is an Associate/ Associate Director (Band 6-7) role, based in Singapore, with a hybrid WFH + WFO setup. Responsibilities
Distribution Agreements

  • End to end management and coordination of Global Distribution Agreements and other onboarding documents for Funds and Alternative Investments.
  • Lead project management for migration of existing global distribution agreements to Clearstream Fund Centre, and key contact point for the Clearstream Fund Centre relationship.
  • Management of KYC forms as part of third-party fund provider’s due diligence on SCB.
Sales Data Management
  • Overall responsibility and ownership of all Managed Investments sales, revenue and AUM data collation and dissemination.
  • Ensure timely publication of performance/sales trends data of the Managed Investments business to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with key fund partners to manage the sales data required for business meetings as well as for senior stakeholders.
Fund Marketing Materials
  • Ensure timely publication and accuracy of data for client friendly fund marketing materials (Fund Select List, Fund Select Tearsheet, Fund Select Guidebook, Fund Select Snapshots).
  • Lead project management for automation of fund marketing materials.
Project Management
  • Support and assist the team in all projects related to Managed Investments.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the Platform and Strategic Initiatives team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • University Graduate with 5+ years of experience in the wealth management/asset management industry, with broad knowledge of both front office and middle office work.
  • Competent in Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with utilising Lipper, Morningstar, Bloomberg databases.
  • Communication and analytical skills are paramount.
  • Able to work independently, but also be an effective team player.
  • Meticulous and attention to detail is key.
  • Enjoy working in a challenging, fast paced environment.
