What the role is:As MINDEF\'s Personnel Policies Department, we are on a mission to attract, recruit, nurture, and retain the best for the defence of Singapore.What you will be working on:We are not just looking for policy makers - we are looking for visionary change makers who dare to be at the forefront of transforming MINDEF/SAF through its people, and developing policies that will shape our workforce for decades to come. Our work goes beyond developing correct policies, to ensuring right outcomes. We need people willing to dive deep into research, analysing data and trends. We want those who can be bridge-builders as well as gatekeepers, able to manage a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation and promote organisational interests.What we are looking for:You lead and orchestrate Human Resource (HR) practitioners across the breadth of MINDEF and the SAF, providing advice and ensuring our policies are applied with precision and finesse. You develop expertise in a core HR domain - talent attraction, remuneration, benefits, organisational design, conduct and discipline, and more. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to projects beyond your core domain, to work on inter-department and organisational level projections, and interact regularly with senior management to help them make decisions about our workforce now and in the future. You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably with 2 years\' work experience in HR. You should be someone who like a challenge, possess a strong interest in people, and can analyse problems and synthesise solutions. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
