Job Description


What the role is:Are you passionate about shaping the future of Singapore\'s digital media and fostering an informed and connected society? Be part of a dynamic team within the Marketing and New Media division that develops and implements strategies through engaging content in the digital media sector.Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with government and industry stakeholders to design and implement initiatives that align with and support digital media sector strategies.
  • Identify and Evaluate Partnership Opportunities: Assess and engage with new content creators and digital platform industry players to establish and grow partnerships that enhance the reach of local content and increase / deepen engagement with younger audiences.
  • Project Evaluation and Proposal Presentation: Prepare comprehensive assessments and recommendations for project approvals, and present proposals to senior management for endorsement.
  • End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project management, including initial scoping, contract negotiation, progress monitoring, deliverable verification, funding administration, issue resolution, and performance evaluation reporting.
  • Network Establishment and Maintenance: Build and maintain strong networks within the media industry and public agencies to facilitate effective collaboration and successful implementation of strategies, projects, and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Organise and manage discussion / engagement sessions with internal and external stakeholders, including all preparation of meeting materials and documentation.
  • Trend Monitoring and Reporting: Stay informed about trends and developments in the digital media ecosystem and provide timely updates to management as needed.
Requirements
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant working experience in project management and digital content roles. Preferably experience in the media industry within Online Content Creation and Digital Media. Prior experience in administration of grants, either public or private, will be an added advantage.
  • Strong appreciation and understanding of short form content, including storytelling techniques, audience engagement strategies and the ability to convey complex messages succinctly.
  • Keen interest in the media industry, specifically the creator economy, with a good understanding of trends driving media consumption and shifts in the digital media ecosystem.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and engage across all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strong in project management and critical analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated team player who can also work independently to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
