Job Description

What the role is:

You are the main liaison between our NSmen and the NS management system. Together with the S8 (National Service Relations), the team is responsible for the human resource management and administrative matters in the NS units under your purview.

What you will be working on:

You are expected to know and appreciate the relevant policies that govern the management to NS administrations, and possess the ability to contextualise NS issues to provide NS units/NSmen with the appropriate advices. You oversee the optimal employment and deployment, through identifying shortfalls in staffing and projection for future requirements. In addition, you manage National Service succession planning, development, training and grooming of National Servicemen through courses.

What we are looking for:

You must have a tertiary qualification. You should be empathetic to NSmen, and be able to consider the challenges they face whilst simultaneously balancing organisational requirements. You should have a keen interest in the welfare of NSmen, and possess a heart to provide them a positive NS experience. Appointment will be commensurate with experience.
