• Ensure that training materials and curriculum are current, accurate, and effective
• Manage training initiatives and projects for Ocean Processes and Systems derived from the global Business Unit strategy
• For global training initiatives, conduct or facilitates required train-the-trainer sessions to cascade training to target audience
• Set up and maintain global training library and associated tools
• Work closely with other functions within Business Unit to determine the training needs and requirements
• Collaborate with Processes & Systems, Optimization and Production Systems to address trainees\xe2\x80\x99 input as well as training needs identified by other teams
• Maintain cooperation and alignment with global Business Support team
• In collaboration with Processes & Systems Optimization and Processes drive change management and process improvements for global operational processes
• Support Business Unit in preparation for major change initiatives and system or process updates (e.g., new system roll-out, major process changes)
• Create training material to meet specific training needs (content to be provided by respective Subject Matter Experts in the respective functional area)
• Conduct training audits globally and provide or facilitate skill-up trainings for trainers as needed

• A completed apprenticeship and/or studies in the area of logistics or similar
• Deep understanding of Product business processes and supporting systems & tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong graphic design ability
• Thorough understanding of training processes
• Ability to moderate large groups
• Highly organized and detail oriented

• At least five years of experience in Air/Ocean Freight operations, with at least one year of supervisory, coaching, or trainer-like experience required
• Profound knowledge of freight forwarding

• Forwarding apprenticeship, university degree in related technical/business areas, or equivalent work experience
