Job Brief
Candidate will lead team of procurement specialists to build and broad knowledge of the business, be responsible as a functional lead in deloying strategies to supply the best priced, quality products and solutions for vary projects.
- Lead a team of procurement executives to manage the following:
- Manage purchasing cycle from Invitation To Quote (ITQ) / Invitation To Tender (ITT) to evaluation and contracting
- Work with Operations to plan procurement requirements
- Ensure materials/services purchased are in accordance with user specifications
- Monitor and manage supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organisational requirements and expectations
- Coordinate with Finance on payment related matters
- Manage continuous improvements for purchasing function
- Conduct market research and engage industries to understand supplier landscape and market supply conditions
- Ensure compliance with procurement policy and procedures
- Communicate and execute procurement work plans, ensuring the team is meeting the overall goals of the function
- Compile and prepare relevant monthly reports
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related fields
- At least 10 years of procurement working experience with minimum of 5 years in managing annual procurement value of $50mil and above
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Possesses good interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Singapore Citizen Only
