Job Description


The primary role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with specialists with practicing privileges at FPH and primary care clinics through consistent, strategic field calls, on-the-ground support, and customer success strategies.

  • Initiate and maintain contact – using a mix of engagement and communication tools – with top 100 physicians identified through a data-driven targeting process to increase inpatient admissions, outpatient services consumption, and revenue aligned with the hospital's business objectives.
  • Conduct scheduled face-to-face meetings with top 100 physicians to uncover needs and then deliver relevant and valuable information specific to each contact – ultimately building a trusting and reliable relationship.
  • Advance each relationship using customized relationship sales strategies to the point of asking for new or additional referral opportunities
  • Arrange introductions of FPH's clinical services, access points, and specialists to new physicians moving into the service area
  • Facilitate attendance at educational programs and other opportunities/events to connect top 100 physicians to the key referral source.
  • Introduce, promote and update FPH's clinical services, access points, and specialists to the primary care network, a key referral source.
  • Document each encounter, including any open requests or needs and the follow-up plan in a database tool that tracks activities, progress, trends, and outcomes
  • Identify growth strategy risks and issues, managing and escalating where appropriate
  • Responsible for timely monitoring and measuring the outcome
  • Responsible for communicating progress against KPI deliverables, trends, and operation barriers expressed by top 100 physicians and primary care network that affect the ability to develop relationships and impact FPH's reputation and referral opportunity.
  • Collaborate on overall companywide growth tactics and strategic framework and plans to attract physicians to bring in cases with higher clinical acuity.
  • Continuously adapt strategies and plans to ensure optimal outcomes and “win-win” results for top 85 physicians and newly onboarded FPMC physicians.
  • Encourage and support internal efforts to create a provider-centric culture
  • Develop communication and communication strategies to engage stakeholders as and when appropriate, effectively
  • Oversee day-to-day teams' operation and performance
  • Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Degree in health administration, business, or marketing preferred.
  • Between 3-5 years of progressive physician engagement/relations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including engaging physicians, specialists, and general practitioners.
  • Experience leading a team to execute and manage programs
  • Experience in a clinic or healthcare environment and governance is an advantage
