Job Purpose

You will be responsible for all aspects of Portfolio Risk and Analytics.

The Job

\xc2\xb7 Ensure timely generation and delivery of risk and performance reports to senior management and internal stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Communicate and provide insights into investment performance and deviations from benchmarks, asset allocation targets and portfolio movements to internal stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate transition to new strategic asset allocation, benchmark changes and provide impact analysis of large rebalancing

\xc2\xb7 Develop new risk reports in consultation with asset owners and GCIO to help track portfolio vs benchmark volatility and returns, monitor VAR and reflect derivative sensitivity to underlying asset class

\xc2\xb7 Proactively surface unintended portfolio risk profile and engage asset owners on appropriate mitigating measures

\xc2\xb7 Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

\xc2\xb7 Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

The position is based in Singapore and will report to Head of Portfolio Analytics, Business & Compliance.

Qualifications

Our Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Finance, Economics or any related disciplines

\xc2\xb7 Around 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial institution is preferred

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of performance returns calculation methodologies

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity, alternative investment product characteristics and applicable analytics calculations

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills and able to work well with internal stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and time management skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel VBA, R Studio, Bloomberg, MSCI Risk Manager

\xc2\xb7 High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.

\xc2\xb7 Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
