What the role is:We are looking for a high performer to be part of IMDA\'s Procurement Unit to transform our policies, systems and processes. You will need to champion the use of data analytics and technology to drive innovation, automation and service delivery. You will also need to provide procurement support to the line divisions in order to fulfil IMDA\'s business needs.Your responsibilities would encompass the following:Provide timely advice to the users to ensure that procurement activities are conducted in the most effective and efficient manner, and to provide guidance on contract management mattersReview procurement submissions, including sourcing documents, recommendation papers, and any other related tasksSupport the Procurement team in the development, implementation and improvement of procurement policies and processesWork as a team on digitalisation projects such as Robotic Process Automation to automate repetitive processesPerform data analysis to recommend trend-based improvements (e.g. demand aggregation) and to aid in decision-makingDevelop dashboards with procurement trends, forecasts and KPIs for management reporting and recommend early intervention where necessaryDevelop and maintain systems or programmes to increase user procurement knowledgeCollaborate with our internal audit team to support audit reviews and propose improvements to policies, processes and systemsRequirementsAt least 5 years\' experience in government procurement, with in-depth and hands-on knowledge of GeBIZ.
