Key Job Purpose: * Proactively lead the production function at SAP Tukang Factory including reagent manufacturing and redressing operations, managing multiple shifts teams operating on a 24-hour ba Key Job Purpose: Proactively lead the production function at SAP Tukang Factory including reagent manufacturing and redressing operations, managing multiple shifts teams operating on a 24-hour basis Effectively working with all other departments in SAP and S-Corp to achieve production targets while maintaining the highest quality, health, safety, security and environmental standards Ensuring full compliance with these standards, as well as training and developing his/her team and leading continuous improvement projects. Job Responsibilities: 1. Production Management Manage daily routine production activities and long-term department planning Optimize usage of production resources, including equipment, manpower, materials Ensure timely material replenishment of production materials and supporting items Coordinate with site functions including Maintenance, Quality Control, Production Management and SAP departments including Supply Chain Management, Quality Management and Warehouse on any issues of production and planning. Initiate, plan and lead operational excellence projects to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost metrics. Any other tasks, which are related to product fulfilment as assigned by Senior Manager, Site Management 2. ISO QMS Draft and own production related ISO documents including Quality Procedures (QP), Work Instructions (WI) and others to support and maintain ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO13485 standards. Maintain production process quality and safety risk assessments Responsible for internal and external audit response Manage customer complaints, deviations and non-conformities 3. Production Administration Responsible for health, safety, environment and security metrics for production, ensuring all legal health, safety, environment and security regulations are met. Ensure compliance with all applicable licenses, permits and other legal requirements Ensure all staff receive sufficient training for their tasks Responsible for training and development of his/her team and ownership of department succession plan. Job Requirements: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering with at least 5 years working experience at managerial level. Experience leading at least 5 or more direct reports in shift environment Familiar in operations and project management, preferably in the same or similar industries (Reagent manufacturing, fine chemicals, flavors & fragrances or pharmaceuticals). Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge and experience of ERP, MES systems (mySAP would be an advantage) Positive with a willingness to take up additional responsibilities. Keen to learn new things and needs to be very strong at people management. Kaizen, Lean or Six Sigma trained Able to travel when required.
