What the role is:Workforce Singapore is seeking a meticulous individual with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our team as a Manager, Research and Engagement. You will be supporting our research team to conduct desktop research, assist in engaging stakeholders and oversee efforts to engage stakeholders effectivelyWhat you will be working on:As a Manager for Research and Engagement, you will: \xe2\x80\xa2Assist in conducting desktop research on trends, technologies and developments related to the future of work and employment models and the role of intermediaries such as employment agencies. \xe2\x80\xa2Conduct market research to identify potential partners and collaboration opportunities. \xe2\x80\xa2Assist in engaging internal and external stakeholders for insights gathering, including coordinating meetings, pre-meeting preparations, post-meeting follow-ups, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2Assist to prepare presentation and briefing materials to engage stakeholders effectively. \xe2\x80\xa2Assist to analyse engagement efforts, identify areas of improvement and strategies to optimise engagement outcomes. \xe2\x80\xa2Provide general administrative support to the division as needed.What we are looking for:You should have the following work experience and knowledge: \xe2\x80\xa2Relevant experience in areas such as horizon-scanning, business development, project management and planning \xe2\x80\xa2Good understanding of Singapore\'s labour market, including the intermediaries and their role in matching supply and demand \xe2\x80\xa2Proficient in using MS Office software especially Excel and PowerPoint \xe2\x80\xa2Strong command of written and spoken English. You should possess the following skill sets: Communication: Capable of delivering clear and effective written and oral communication to effectively engage stakeholders. To also possess strong interpersonal skill to be able to engage diverse stakeholders across all levels. Attention to Detail: Able to ensure accuracy in data management with a strong numerical sense, and attentiveness to details Personal Effectiveness: Demonstrate capability in resourcefulness and problem solving.
