IATA is more than a trade association; it is a vision of a better future for air travel.About the team you are joiningThe Manager, Safety and Flight Ops Consulting, Asia takes part in business development, project management, and project delivery in areas related to Safety and Flight Ops across the Asia Pacific and North Asia regions. You will be reporting to the Senior Principal, IATA Consulting & Certifications, Asia and working alongside a brilliant team of highly talented Consultants and Subject Matter Experts from diverse culture, backgrounds, and nationalities.What your day would be likeThe Manager, Safety and Flight Ops Consulting, Asia is expected to:Undertake business development initiatives in close collaboration with the Principal Safety Flight Operations, Civil Aviation and ATM Consulting with a focus on Asia.

• Nurture relationships with key clients.
• Identify and qualify of business leads.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Participate in commercial meetings.
• Contribute to the design and roll-out of new consulting products and services as required.

Manage safety and flight operations consulting projects or sub-projects, in Asia mostly.

• Prepare, and maintain adherence to the budget and timeframe.
• Manage internal and external Consultants and Subject Matter Experts assigned to the project or sub-project.
• Provide quality assurance on the delivery and quality control on the deliverables.
• Liaise with the Client\'s project team in coordination with the IATA project director.
• Ensure the issuance of IATA invoices at client-agreed milestones, in coordination with the IATA project director.

Deliver safety and flight operations consulting projects or sub-projects:

• Contribute to project activities and deliverables as required.
• Participate and present deliverables in client meetings as required.

Note: The incumbent is expected to spend at least 70% of his / her time on project management and delivery, with some travel across Asia.We would love to hear from you if

• You have a university degree (Master\'s level at a minimum) in Air Transport / Airline / Airport Management / Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in the aviation industry, including delivering aviation safety-related consulting projects.
• Solid knowledge of international aviation safety standards and regulations including the IOSA standards.
• Experience of flying as a pilot and ideally hold / held a commercial pilot licence.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write reports in English and present them to senior executive managers.
• Strong analytical mindset.
