Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head Safety Policy & Audit, the Manager will implement and conduct the Group Safety Audit Workplan and programmes (Safety Management System, Workplace Health & Safety, Operational Safety & Thematic Safety audits) to validate system conformity and compliances against the established safety regulatory requirements and corporate safety policies and procedures. He/She is also responsible to collate, track and analyse safety trends.
Responsibilities
Together with his/her team, incumbent is to fulfil the duties and responsibilities listed below. Note that the list is not exhaustive; related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
1 Collaborate with Business unit SSQ teams and other agencies (IAD, JOINT READI), if necessary, to plan and schedule audits (including ISOs) and inspections based on the approved annual audit and inspection workplan.
2 Validate ground compliance to Regulatory requirements, established authorized operating document, past incident/ audit/ inspection findings, KRIs and risk register through the conduct of audits and inspections.
3 Prepare, issue and file audit and inspection reports, including the filing of details into the audit management systems.
4 Manage and update the Group Safety Dashboard to track, monitor and analyse Safety trends arising from audits, inspections and corrective actions taken
5 Consolidate outputs and develop from various stakeholders within the Business Units\' and Divisions\' Safety and Security functions into dashboards for Management and Board reporting.
6 Process, monitor, identify, and analyze recordable workplaces injuries, commuter\'s injury trends and determine its relevance to SMRT Business Units on a routine frequency.
7 Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business needs and resolve metrics-based issues.
