Sales & Marketing Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuity in good customer relationships by building trust and credibility with customers through effective and professional support.
  • Organize and conduct product demonstration to customers.
  • Organize and conduct talks in orthopedic departments.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for both product and territory
  • Communicate and follow up with DKSH Supply Chain team scheduled and emergency surgeries including ensuring the right instrument sets and implants are being delivered on time and location.
  • Prepare sets and implants inside the OR with final check before surgical team is in place
  • Attend and support OR cases: provide technical guidance to Surgeons and OR teams, assist in making the instruments and implants available when needed.
  • Prepare and submit billing (to OR team as well as DKSH team)
  • Verify all instruments and implants. Ensure condition and packaging is up to requirements at every steps (to OR, to CSSD, to warehouse)
  • Achieve assigned case supports
  • Consistently update competitors\xe2\x80\x99 information including organizational chart, new product launch, business strategy and business alliances.

Managerial Responsibilities
  • Drive profitable growth year on year by significantly outperforming in the country of operation; achieve or exceed the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial plans; maximize the value of the company by optimizing revenues and operating margins through a team of Sales & Marketing employees, focused on medical devices.
  • Establish and build interests in the country through organic means; Conceptualization and execution of corporate strategy for consolidation, new territorial entry and new product introduction.
  • Develops short- and long- range sales forecast budgets and profit objectives. Directs implementation of medical device sales strategies in the Singapore market and monitors results and modifies strategies as necessary for profitable sales, market penetration and achievement of goals. Work closely with product specialists to ensure optimum channel penetration & proper execution of channel strategies.
  • Explore and analyse market trends to identify new opportunities in Singapore.
  • Build strong customer experience in order to maintain revenue growth and brand loyalty.
  • In collaboration with MDD Senior Manager, review and set strategic direction with Clients for effective execution of marketing & sales strategies for identified therapies.
  • Strengthens relationships and maintains a working knowledge of the business through direct interface with customers and all key stakeholders.
  • In collaboration with MDD Senior Manager, drives the development of pricing strategies and directs implementation of pricing policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates field and internal interaction to provide input for marketing initiatives; provides feedback on acceptance of products, product problems and potential new product application.
  • In collaboration with MDD Senior Manager, supports the business Development & Commercial Due Diligence.
  • Promotes the DKSH Culture through positive ongoing customer relations and uncompromising compliance.
  • Set direction and cascade team/function goals to ensure goals are well-defined and clearly communicated.
  • Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Field Sales and DKSH behavior to achieve team/function goals.
  • Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Field Sales and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning

Professional Requirements
  • Good presentation skills
  • Experience in doing or supporting trauma/orthopedics\xe2\x80\x99 surgeries
  • Experience in private and public hospital/clinic environment in Singapore.
  • Good knowledge of the medical device environment and its decision makers stakeholders
  • Proven capabilities in selling techniques and able to apply / demonstrate it during business / product promotion to purchasers and end users.
  • Expertise in organizing and running cadaver workshop for product launches or refreshers.
  • Experience in product training and marketing activities is an advantage.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Possess own transport and a valid Singapore driving license.

Work Experience and Education
  • At least 5-7 years experience as OR support (Trauma extremities and/ or Joint replacement).
  • 5-7 years sales experience in medical device industry engaging orthopedic and trauma surgeons is a plus.
  • Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in Bioscience
  • Experience and ability to be in the Operating Theatre (OT)
  • Relevant experience in Singapore is critical for this role
