About the Department


This role is part of UOB\xe2\x80\x99s Group Retail Marketing function which focuses on: 1. Rolling out secured loans campaigns and activities to drive revenue growth, loan volumes and awareness for the bank\xe2\x80\x99s mortgage and car loan businesses to drive digital and in-branch take-up. 2. Building on the bank\xe2\x80\x99s omnichannel strategy by enhancing the in-person experience / branch proposition for consumers. Curating and governing the showcase of marketing assets across the bank\xe2\x80\x99s wide branch network to increase the branch experience for customers as well as optimising the bank\xe2\x80\x99s owned assets and channels, to drive CVPs and product/solution awareness and take up. The job holder will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, as well as communication materials to strengthen the consumer perception of the Bank as well as the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s secured loans business. The job holder will also support acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth initiatives to drive the business.

Job Responsibilities


  • Together with Product owners, Sales, Operations, Compliance and Legal stakeholders, develop and implement marketing programs that drive customer acquisitions, leads generation and revenue while strengthening the segment proposition. This includes developing sales tools and sourcing premiums and gifting options.
  • Work with creative and media agencies to develop effective marketing collaterals for all touchpoints while leveraging on an optimal media mix.
  • Create and deliver exciting digital/social content that drives awareness, encourage engagement and generate leads.
  • In addition, this individual will also manage branch and self-service banking assets and communications.
  • Work closely with the Analytics and Digital teams for more effective customer targeting and to monitor and track campaign performance and results to aid learnings for future campaigns.
  • Monitor, track and optimize allocated marketing budgets and performance of marketing initiatives to achieve agreed yearly business targets.



Job Requirements


  • At least 2-3 years of marketing or creative/media agency experience. Strong digital and social media marketing experience is essential
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong branding/design sense with business acumen
  • Tenacious and results-oriented with attention-to-details
  • Excellent project and people management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive and energetic team player
