Job Description


[What the role is]
This role is responsible for driving organisational effectiveness through strategic planning, communication and capability building initiatives, contributing to the building of a competent and resilient workforce that is aligned to IRAS\xe2\x80\x99 strategic direction and the external landscape.

[What you will be working on]

Talent Attraction

  • Proactively source for the right candidates by building a compelling employer brand and managing talent relationships, setting hiring standards, and accessing a range of recruitment channels (social and mobile by default) to maximise the effectiveness of sourcing
  • Explore and implement new digital/AI/data analytics solutions which will facilitate candidate profiling while eliminating human bias from the process.
  • Deploying workforce solutions that enable enterprises to access talent from across the wide array of talent economy workforce sources\xe2\x80\x94from traditional employment, to contingent, to crowd-sourced
Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Strategize and execute tactical plans of the strategic workforce plan.
  • Plan and manage the efficient and effective deployment of the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s manpower resources to maximise productivity in pursuit of organisational vision, mission, strategy and plans
  • Deploy a range of data mining tools and analytical techniques to create management information, business insights, and projections for manpower planning purposes
Strategic HR Systems
  • Identify, evaluate and effectively harness and implement potential technology and digital/AI/data analytics tools to improve HR processes and systems to achieve greater efficiency and synergy across teams
  • Consolidate and analyse statistics in support of the IRAS\xe2\x80\x99 decision making process
User Experience & Continuous Improvements
  • Support line departments to achieve their objectives in their transformation journey
  • Be the voice of the stakeholders and provide regular feedback/ ideas to improve user experience and ensure consistent value propositions across multiple user-groups and contact channels;
  • Identify opportunities and apply knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g. RPA, data analytics) or methodologies (e.g. BI & Design) in the form of projects/other interventions across branches/divisions to improve user experience or streamline processes;
  • Participate and contribute in key activities and milestones in the implementation of digital/AI/data analytics projects;
  • Plan continuous work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies.
[What we are looking for]
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource or a related discipline, with prior experience in the role applied to
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, independent and a team player
  • Creative and willing to challenge status quo
  • Experience with analytics & digital tools would be an advantage
