You will be working on customer-facing digital applications and projects that will transform our business and bring customer experience to greater heights. You will be working in squads with fellow enthusiasts, re-imagining how we serve our connected customers. As a digital disrupter, you'll recreate and redefine our business to generate lasting competitive advantage, focusing on building the applications for Changi's existing / new digital products. You will be responsible for the below areas:

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Owner(s) to translate business requirements to technical requirements, including establishing effort estimates, delivery timelines and deliverables
• Draw up the technical architecture based on the user stories translated from the business requirements
• Propose technical solutions from high level to details for system integration in the pre-existing application system environment
• Manage & coach a team of software engineers, including reviewing their codes, and share coding and architecture best practices
• Possess technical & business solution domain expertise in AWS Cloud & Severless Architecture, and knowledge in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, Swift)
• Persons with experience in implementing Agile and Lean practices in the context of Software Engineering are preferred

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant computer science, engineering, information technology or related field.
• 7-8 years of experience with hands-on experience in solution architecture, delivering agile projects (planning, execution and team management) as well as managing a team of software engineers
• Ability to solve complex development problems and produce the highest quality code while striving to push the technical boundaries of online applications
• Experience with web scripting languages such as Javascript, Node.js or Python
• Familiar with AWS components and services, e.g. S3, API Gateway, Lambda Functions, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, etc. AWS Certified Solution Architect (Professional) preferred.
• Experience working with AWS serverless architecture is required.
• Experience with optimizing cloud cost usage and application & database performance, with ability to explain pros and cons of different options
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
