What the role is:Manager (Sports Wellness)What you will be working on:

• Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to a team of student development officers.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sporting excellence and best in class IPPT participation & passing rate
• Support MINDEF\'s ACCORD initiatives.
• Develop and implement initiatives and incentives to attract sporting talents to TP.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant government agencies and overseas partners to strengthen sports excellence for student athletes.
• Develop & implement leadership training programmes for sports leaders.
• Represent the Polytechnic as a member/chairperson of the POL-ITE and IVP Sports Council
• Lead dept/poly-wide events or activities.
• Organise & Lead overseas sports training camps.
• Manage CCA groups and act as liaison between students, coaches, schools and other key partners and stakeholders e.g. POL-ITE, IVP, MOE schools.
• Supervise, develop and mentor students leaders.
• Assist in the implementation of PE lessons and sports science initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Director.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary education
• At least 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Keen interest in student development work.
• Organised, resourceful and result-oriented, with a high work-rate and good multi-tasking ability.
• Possess strong administrative and project management skills.
• A team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• IT-savvy and proficient in MS Office.
• Physically fit and able to work beyond office hours.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the public service will be advantageous.
