Manager, Talent Management (TM)
The Manager, Talent Management is a leadership position, leading a team of 2 direct reports and is a key role within an organization responsible for overseeing all talent management function. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to strategically align HR TM initiatives with the organization\'s goals. The Manager must also have high proficiency in handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity. This role will be reporting to the Country HR Head Singapore.

Responsibility:

1) Talent Management

  • Independently manage the planning and implementation of Talent Management initiatives and programs for each segment of talent, as well as all associated administrative duties
  • Monitor progress and assess effectiveness of systems and initiatives through the collation and compilation of feedback and data, and propose evidence-based solutions as appropriate on an ongoing basis
  • Take on project management responsibilities in the review and design of talent management systems and programs, including scanning of best practices for adaptation to the local context.
  • Develop systems and processes to support the implementation of the talent management framework
  • Build, engage and maintain strong relationship with members of the talent pool
  • Support the annual talent review process, performance feedback and career development plans for employees
  • Partner with Head of Country in developing and implementing strategies to identify and prepare employees for future leadership positions, ensuring a strong talent pipeline within the organization
  • Organizing learning programs, mentoring initiatives and career progression
  • Facilitate Talent Management workshops and clinics to train people managers on Talent Management topics
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and department heads in identifying training and development needs
2) People Engagement
  • Oversee and manage the entire onboarding programs to ensure seamless transitions for new hires.
  • Intern Administration
  • Oversee the full cycle of internship management
  • TM related projects/program
  • Partner with Global Talent Management team on projects, example Competency Management Job Mapping, from design and development to implementation
  • Feedback Landscape: Local coordinator for Continental\'s global employee survey (Organizational, Team & Individual)
  • External Liaison
  • Support in Government initiatives e.g. SGUP, TeSA Industry Partnership/Alliance
  • Regularly review L&D service provider and recommend changes to suit the organization\'s transformation journey.
Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Development or equivalent

Additional Information

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree, preferably with a focus in Human Resource Development or Organizational Behavior
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience preferably in a MNC
  • Interest in Talent Management and belief in the innate value of people development for organizations
  • Project Management experience coupled with a strong bias for action
  • High level of energy and initiative, with a thirst for challenge and ability to thrive in a dynamic matrix reporting environment
  • Ability to constructively question the status quo, and propose constructive and creative ideas to address observed gaps
  • Desire and orientation to engage and build collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis
