What is the Opportunity? We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join TTO COO Business Management Office. The team\xe2\x80\x99s objective is to oversee the planning, coordinating, and driving of activities and initiatives that are required to deliver our Strategy and TTO COO\xe2\x80\x99s agenda. You will be supporting the Head, TTO COO Business Management Office to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and mandate. This is a unique position requiring a combination of strategic thinking and strong analytic capabilities; accompanied by solid communication, interpersonal and administrative skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy and Transformation

  • Awareness and understanding of the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Business Strategy, TTO Strategy and TTO COO Strategies.
  • Support the Head, TTO COO Business Management Office to define and update the TTO COO strategy on behalf of the TTO COO, in close alignment with the TTO COO Management Team.
  • Facilitate significant strategic initiatives that advance the agenda and effectiveness of TTO COO, in partnership with key stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Own and drive TTO COO strategic initiatives required to deliver TTO COO\xe2\x80\x99s agenda/objectives cross-business/function, in collaboration with required stakeholders, such as TTO Transformation, BPMs, HR, and Communications, etc.
Business
  • Ensure strategic and transformation initiatives deliver against the key measures of success defined in the Strategy and the expected outcomes are delivered across the TTO organisation.
  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Bank operates.
  • Support the Team Head to manage and control TTO COO budget, headcount and expenses in conjunction with HR and Finance.
  • Prepare presentations, status reporting, etc., as required for stakeholder requirements, programme office, senior management consumption.
  • Provide effective PMO support including scheduling of meetings, solicitation of input for key topics, decisions, risks/issues etc. from key stakeholders, preparation of materials, minuting of key discussion points, decisions and actions, and coordination of subsequent activities.

  • Responsible for preparing material, conduct and run any required sessions to update key stakeholder groups of progress, delivery risks/issues, and solicit decisions and/or input required to successfully deliver initiative.
  • Maintain an active repository of key follow up issues emerging from internal and external activities and ensure their effective closure.
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of business and management deliverables and effectively leverage this information to set key meetings and committee agendas that inform and advance progress.
  • Support financial and governance reporting that accompanies the Group\xe2\x80\x99s governance and risk management processes.
Risk Management
  • Act quickly and decisively when any risk and/or control weakness becomes apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and, if necessary, escalated through the relevant forums
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate
  • 6+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a professional corporate environment; previous business management or consulting experience desirable.
  • An analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyse data synthesize observations and/or recommendations.
  • A mindset to continuously learn and develop themselves.
  • Previous project management skills and/or experience with financials
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community.
  • Ability to create high quality materials in MS PowerPoint for management consumption.
  • Strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and willingness to roll-up sleeves to drive success.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or other relevant field
