Develop methodology in assessment of volunteers and volunteer assignments for effective matching of projects and scope of contribution.
Develop Volunteer Programme materials (such as applications, policies and procedures, volunteer regulations, orientation handbooks, etc).
Develop, administer, and review guidelines for volunteer programmes.
Develop a volunteer friendly culture within the SSA by engaging, supporting and training staff whom volunteers will be working with.
Source, develop and sustain collaborations with other SSAs, community stakeholders, corporate partners and government agencies.
Project the SSA\xe2\x80\x99s requirements for volunteers and develop the volunteer recruitment and retention strategy.
Evaluate, enhance and implement volunteer management policies and processes (e.g. volunteer training, development, recognition, engagement).
Implement IT systems or solutions for volunteer data analysis and impact management.
Identify emerging approaches in volunteer management and evaluate volunteerism trends and impact which will value add to the volunteer engagement strategies and approaches.
Guide, supervise and mentor the volunteer coordinators in the team.
Administer and monitor expenditures for the volunteer program against the approved budget.
Oversee annual reporting on the contributions of the volunteer program to the organisation.
Evaluate the contribution of volunteers on an annual basis with the team.
Qualifications:
Degree holder with min. 8 years of experience in people management, stakeholder management, strategic work, resource management and/or project management.
Experience in volunteer management and/or in the social sector will be preferred.
Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
Good interpersonal and people management skills to work with people from diverse background.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Organized, meticulous and resourceful.
Self-motivated and able to manage a team.
