About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide system support functions to business and operation users for Loans related systems.
  • The functions will cover handling of system enhancement requests from business users, reviewing of functional specifications, performing and coordinating user\'s acceptance testing (UAT), providing system implementation support, handling loans related queries from business users, updating of loans parameters etc.
  • Develop and execute test automation script for functional testing (TOSCA)
  • Engage relevant stakeholders for user trainings on system enhancement and projects.
  • Provide administrator support to Loans related applications.
  • Provide loans related system support functions to UOB subsidiaries and overseas branches users
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Information Technology, Finance and Banking or equivalent
  • Min. 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in system project implementations.
  • Good knowledge/understanding of Loans operation process & system capabilities/functionalities is preferred
  • Able to work closely with requirement stakeholders to understand complete requirements of the system enhancements or projects
  • Experience in UAT testing automation and script writing, preferably using TOSCA testing automation tool.
  • Able to multi-task with good time management skills
  • Good interpersonal & communication (both spoken/written) skills
  • Able to work independently as well as a good team player
  • Inquisitive and possess positive learning attitude
  • Good knowledge on testing practices and testing experiences will be an added advantage
