The Volunteer Resource Optimisation (VRO) Team\xe2\x80\x99s focus areas are to enlarge the volunteer management capacity and to strengthen the volunteer management capabilities of our social service agencies. To build and advocate the work of capacity and capability development in volunteer management, we leverage strategic partnerships, execute integrated marketing communications efforts to promote greater awareness of effective volunteer management practices. VRO\xe2\x80\x99s focus is to build upon the strategic pillars of 4ST, SG Cares and SSA3.0.
Develop effective strategies and resources to advocate, build and communicate the importance of volunteer management as a key strategy in sustaining volunteerism outcomes for the sector and the nation.
Manage the delivery of strategic stakeholder engagement and communication strategies and initiatives/campaigns to promote volunteer management through engaging messages and partnerships.
Develop and implement an advocacy communications strategy and calendar utilizing multiple platforms like social media, publishing channels, engagement sessions to achieve the objectives of uplifting volunteer management as a strategy to sustain volunteerism , leveraging the sectoral tools, data/insights and resources developed for the sector.
Engage strategic stakeholders like leadership team and board of SSAs, POHs as our advocates and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to build awareness and enhance the position of volunteer management, volunteer managers and volunteers as the catalyse for growth and transformation in the organisations.
Identify and manage strategic partners to co-develop collaborative activities to support our advocacy and communication activities.
Identify platforms to grow the Volunteer Management Practitioners (VMPs) database and oversee the usage and maintenance.
Develop and manage a marketing and communications strategy to support the delivery of our messages and resources/tools to key stakeholders like SSAs, VMPs, NPOs, strategic partners and intermediaries etc.
Oversee various communication channels , like the Volunteer Resource Hub, VM Newsletter and digital/social media platforms and working with the NCSS Comms & Marketing team to identify media and publicity opportunities, to share and market our sectoral resources/initiatives and to advocate for volunteer management.
Develop and maintain relevant volunteer management communication assets like videos, articles, reports, collaterals (print and electronic) etc.
Manage campaigns from conceptualisation to implementation which includes planning, execution, monitoring of campaign effectiveness, analysing of outcomes and identify partnership opportunities.
Track and monitor budgets to ensure marketing approaches and spending are aligned to support VRO\xe2\x80\x99s advocacy and communication objectives.
Any other duties as assigned.
