Senior Manager, Corporate Communications and Marketing

Position Overview

The Senior Corporate Communications and Marketing Manager will join the Strategic Communications and Marketing team to tell the company's story and elevate the corporate brand across multiple touch points.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise and implement corporate communications and marketing strategies to protect and enhance corporate reputation. This includes translation of the Board's brand statements into a coherent narrative and identifying valuable opportunities across multiple platforms to maximise brand exposure for the Board and its leadership
  • Drives proactive media relations, including organising of press briefings, interviews for senior management and management of press materials
  • Monitors mainstream and social media sentiments to understand stakeholders' perspectives and refine key messages
  • Assists with the preparation and development of corporate/ investor materials such as annual reports, corporate website and collaterals
  • Leads internal teams to develop and execute a LinkedIn plan to build up social presence
  • Spearheads the development of an employer branding strategy and execution plan based on employer value propositions
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to HR, business heads and other colleagues to ensure alignment of messages and tonality. This also includes being part of a bigger Crisis Comms team to develop crisis management plans in consultation with other business units and stakeholders outside of the organisation
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing/ PR with at least 8-10 years of proven experience in corporate branding, PR and communications as well as employer branding in an agency or in-house setting. Related healthcare sector experience is a bonus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in managing different stakeholders with diverse opinions and backgrounds
  • Experience working with Senior Management Team and able to translate and deploy management goals into actions
  • Brings a holistic understanding and solutioning approach to communications, for e.g. traditional media relations, social media, new trends in digital communications, thought leadership, etc
  • Organized, able to multi-task and follow up timely on outstanding matters;
  • Good communication skills and professional working attitude, with the ability to develop and repurpose content for different audiences and channels
  • Positive working attitude, meticulous and responsible
  • Able to work under tight reporting timelines
  • Proficient in computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Well-versed in brand governance, narrative development and brings expertise in running integrated corporate communications activities across earned and owned platforms.
  • Team player and to support ad-hoc assigned tasks as required
