[What the role is]
The Data Unit aims to drive NAC\xe2\x80\x99s data strategy, formulates data governance policies/processes, and builds data capabilities within NAC.

[What you will be working on]

You will support the Chief Data Officer in developing and implementing NAC\xe2\x80\x99s Data Strategy. You will drive new initiatives to improve the way NAC manages and uses data \xe2\x80\x93 from people and culture to policies / processes and the technological environment. You will also have opportunities to work with colleagues from various NAC departments, CLGs, other stat boards and stakeholders to develop sources of integrated arts and cultural data for data exploitation / data analytics projects.

Your job scope includes (but not limited to) the following:

• Review, update and implement NAC\xe2\x80\x99s data management policies (as per IM8 guidelines) and processes to facilitate the secure and responsible use of data.
• Develop and implement standard operating processes (SOP) as per the data cycle (acquisition, fusion, access & distribution, exploitation)
• Guide Data Champions and other NAC officers in driving data sharing initiatives and enhancing the accessibility of NAC data.
• Work with department\xe2\x80\x99s Data Champion to build a data catalogue and dictionary to locate and stock-take data sources.
• Embed good data governance practices within NAC through change management efforts.
• Identify data capability-building opportunities to level up NAC data maturity.
• Develop and manage data analytics projects for sense-making and to sharpen planning / policy development within NAC.
• Deliver accurate and actionable data to senior management, departments, CLGs, stat boards and other stakeholders

[What we are looking for]

We are looking for proactive self-starter with an analytical and creative mind. You should have:

• At least 3 years of working experience in conceptualising, strategizing and implementing policies. Working experience in Business/Data Analytics, Data Policy Design or Data Governance will be advantageous.
• Have the conviction that data is a game-changer for organisations, and be willing to guide and support NAC on this change journey.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage a wide spectrum of stakeholders (including external partners and cross-divisional teams) and lead them to achieve win-win outcomes.
