What the role is:The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) is the regulatory and developmental agency for the early childhood (EC) sector in Singapore and oversees key aspects of children\'s development below the age of seven across both kindergartens and childcare centres. You will be part of the Leadership Development Unit, under the Professional Development and Standards Division (PDS) which focuses on reviewing and developing sectoral plans and initiatives to support the holistic development of EC leaders to achieve quality preschool outcomes.What you will be working on:Your key responsibilities include: 1. Reviewing and developing plans to drive the adoption of the EC Leadership Development Framework (LDF). This would include: a. Reviewing existing leadership development provisions to analyse and validate outcomes achieved as well as identify gaps in leadership competencies and skills that need to be addressed; b. Engaging stakeholders to seek input and co-create solutions to support development of current and future leaders; c. Developing initiatives to drive adoption of LDF, tracking implementation and monitoring outcomes achieved; d. Conducting literature reviews, research and market scans on leadership development in EC or other sectors both local or overseas to be updated on trends, best practices and propose enhancements to the LDF where necessary 2. Managing existing and upcoming leadership provisions, including working with other ECDA divisions and training providers such as the professional development component in the Professional Development Programme for Leaders (PDP-L) 3. Evaluating leadership-related CPD course proposals from training providers and issuing Letter of Endorsement (LOE) for approved courses. 4. Other operational duties including managing backend course administration processes and public queries/ appeals. 5. Supporting other duties as required.What we are looking for:
