Job Description


What the role is:

MSF\'s Communications & Engagement Division spearheads and executes communication and multi-stakeholder engagement initiatives to promote greater public awareness for MSF\'s policies and programmes, grow public trust, and contribute towards MSF\'s outcomes of building stronger families, resilient individuals and a caring society.

What you will be working on:

  • Work with the team to strategise, develop and implement the MSF-family\'s stakeholder and/or volunteer engagement plans to achieve MSF\'s outcomes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and develop processes and systems to better coordinate engagement efforts and cultivate different stakeholders, identify gaps/issues/needs with data/research, and propose solutions to complex issues, address concerns and build trust/co-create solutions with our stakeholders to rally support for MSF\'s programmes and initiatives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and support the coordination of strategic communications messaging to relate well and garner greater buy-in from stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate and work across a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders (e.g. MSF\'s Divisions, Statutory Boards, and Secretariats of WOG initiatives) to provide strategic guidance to our internal stakeholders on the desired outcome of our engagement efforts and align it with MSF\'s broader strategic communications and engagement plans. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage systems - the Central Stakeholder Repository and/or the Volunteer Management System. \xe2\x80\xa2 Profile our advocates via social media content and supporting comms materials (e.g. e-newsletters, videos, infographics, etc) to amplify MSF\'s engagement efforts and impact made.
What we are looking for:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration/Mass Communications or related disciplines \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work well with a diverse group of professionals from the public and private sectors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-driven, has a \'can-do\' attitude, a sense of curiosity to learn and apply new skills, and a good team player whilst also able to work independently. \xe2\x80\xa2 Likes working with complex issues and to develop win-win solutions. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
