Collaborate with IT department and external project consultants on finance project and issues.
Automation & Business Analytics
Support HRFS Refresh Project which includes:
Trace data flow and perform deep dive for finance processes;
Involve in the development of functional specifications and system blueprint;
Proper setup of access authorization matrix;
End to end project support from implementation to deployment; etc.
Identify and provide new technologies and enhancements that streamline processes and promote process efficiencies.
Perform system testing as and when required.
Explore possible data analytics and dashboarding tool used.
Facilitate analytics and dashboarding tool usage.
Deploy use of RPA.
Involve in training the relevant skill set to the Finance team.
Partner Engagement
Scan IT environment for new tools such as Qlik Sense and Tableau.
Coordinate for benchmarking trips to other AUs and organisations to learn about their automation journey.
Search for good RPA tools to assess feasibility for SMU.
Others
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accountancy, Business or a related discipline with 6 years of relevant experience in the area of financial system implementation, business improvement and process mapping.
Preferably a Chartered Accountant.
More than 10 years of SAP experience in FI, CO, FM, GM and PS modules.
Experience in other financial systems such as Qlik Sense, Prophix, etc.
Experience in Project Management tools and techniques such as MS Projects, Critical Path Method (CPM), etc.
Experience in Change Management;
Process flow and systems implementation;
User authorization matrix setup.
Experience in finance operations preferred.
Supervisory skills and experience in managing system projects.
Good Microsoft Office applications skills and computer knowledge. Able to generate, populate and interpret data.
Adaptable and possess a mature and confident personality.
Self-starter with ability to work independently and self-motivated.
Pro-active, committed, meticulous, organised and resourceful with positive work attitude.
Prioritize, coordinate and organize work to meet deadlines.
Demonstrates ability to multi-task and to complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner with limited supervision.
Good communication (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills.
Possess a keen interest on process improvement and efficiency.
