What the role is:The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults (VAs). Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect and offending. As part of the RPG family, the Adult Protective Service (APS) is a statutory service that leads in the policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals, families and vulnerable adults experiencing violence, abuse or neglect.What you will be working on:As a Manager/Senior Manager, your role is to support the Assistant Director/Senior Assistant Director to lead a team to develop and implement a Family Violence (FV) database to track and consolidate key data relating to FV that can be used for research and analysis. You will be responsible for the overall project management including the engagement of key stakeholders. Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee and supervise the project from planning, implementation, monitoring and maintenance (both stakeholder engagement and data management) \xe2\x80\xa2 Active monitoring and tracking of project progress and reporting progress to management \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that project milestones are on track and meet deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing relationship with key stakeholder which includes develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement and on-boarding strategies \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinating staff and internal resources which includes leading the secretariat team for the FV database workgroupWhat we are looking for:Requirements: Technical/Functional Competencies: \xe2\x80\xa2 Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science or Mathematics \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 4 years of experience in Data and IT system management \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of the government and social service/ health sectors is an advantage Generic Competencies: \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical, problem solving and writing skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Competent in building strong teams \xe2\x80\xa2 Driven to achieve results for the team \xe2\x80\xa2 Enjoy teamwork and able to work in a challenging and fast-paced environmentAbout Ministry Of Social And Family Development:\xe2\x80\x9cWe are Professionals with Passion for People\xe2\x80\x9d The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) develops the \xe2\x80\x9cheartware\xe2\x80\x9d for Singapore through our policies, community infrastructure, programmes and services.
