Location : Outram

Contract period : 6months (for maternity coverage)

Job scope :

Support the governance and administration of research activities in Hsa in accordance with the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s research policies and guidelines as well as the regulatory requirements under the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA). Also part of the team to strategies ad implement employee engagement and well-being initiatives aimed at building a caring, engaged and connected working community in HSA.

On governance and administration of research activities, the officer will : * Ensure HSAA fulfils the necessary requirements of the HBRA, including appointment of Institutional Review Board (IRB) members, managing submissions to authorities, managing research policies and SOPs, and ensuring compliance to in-house HBR research guidelines.

  • Serve as a point of contact for ethics related matters, such as supporting in-house researchers on ethics related matters and procuring of IRB services
  • Administers and manage in-house Research, Innovation and Transformation Seed Grant processes
  • Provide secretariat and administrative support for other relevant Research and Innovation matters, including secretariat support for the Research Advisory Committee and coordinating the completion of A*STAR annual RIE survey.
On employee engagement initiatives, the officer will : * Administer the Employee Engagement Survey (EES), including planning and coordinating the conduct of the EES, results analysis and communications, developing communication pieces, supporting action planning an providing periodic updates to Senior Management.
  • Plan and execute \xe2\x80\x9cThrive at Work\xe2\x80\x9d and well-being programmes such as well-being webinars and events workshop and training for supervisors, and making available well-being resources to staff
  • Facilitate care in Hybrid Workplace initiatives
  • Serve as point of contact for PSD wellness initiatives, including the Wellness Ambassadors Network and the WOG counselling hotline.
Requirement :

He/she will need to Have a least 3-5 years working knowledge in HBRA, research administration and statistical/data analytics. * Prior working knowledge in Organisation Development (OD) diagnostic tools, facilitating employee engagement and/or internal communication would be advantageous
  • Be able to confidently engage officers at all levels \xe2\x80\x93 from senior to middle management to general staff levels
  • Be able to think analytically and critically, and work meticulously.
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and spoken), have strong interpersonal skills and is resourceful and takes initiative
  • Be able to work independently, and as a team in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and working knowledge in the use of publication applications like MS Publisher and Canva.
