Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer, APAC
This Engineer supports the MES team from design, implementation to testing of functionalities customized to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s bespoke Manufacturing Execution System and will also assist in coordinating with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit gap analysis of requirements against MES system functionality.
The Position:
- Play a key role in create, maintain and review of documentation in the following areas of User Requirements, Implementation & Testing Activities and Work Instructions.
- Support & monitor installed systems & related equipment in APAC
- Support Manufacturing on the efficient use of MES; Help to troubleshoot issues during MES usage and support end Users in MES navigation.
- Provides training for new production operators and refresher training with regards to MES
- Generation and analysis of automation and customized other production reports on demand
- Regional Support in Projects and Day to Day Operations for APAC SRMS sites \xe2\x80\x93 Singapore, China, and India
- Take the lead to implement corrective actions and improvements so that the team can achieve Production KPI - Automation Level, Inventory controls as well as Supply Chain KPIs like OTD, OTF and cost trackers
The Ideal Candidate:
- Min Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Possess a strong interest in developing an automated workflow
- Has strong communication skills, adaptable at cross functional/cultural working environment.
- Has an innovative mindset/approach to resolving challenges/problems with cost effective and feasible solutions.
- Willing to learn & adopt latest technologies to improve on Manufacturing efficiency.
- Able to communicate and partner closely with stakeholders, key users from various functions like Production, Quality Control, and IT in Singapore.
- Synergy and align with project teams, share knowledge with others and willing to take a learning approach.
- In carrying out the duties, this position is to ensure that work is done within GMP framework and according to safety standards.
- Working knowledge in SAP, BI Tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau and working in a GMP environment is an added advantage.
