Principal MES Engineer (Industry 4.0)
Singapore (North)

JAC Singapore are exclusively recruiting multiple Principal MES Engineer to work with a highly respected global manufacturing organization.
Our highly respected global client are seeking to onboard the Principal MES Engineer to support their industry 4.0 transformation.

This is an opportunity to join their newly established regional Data, Engineering, AI & ML Team based in their ASEAN HQ.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Implementing the Manufacturing Execution System & integration of ERP, Smart Factory Automation & CMMS
• Development & implementation of 4.0 manufacturing solutions via the SAP system
• Execution system configuration, programming, debugging & testing
• Collaboration with the Data & Business Intelligence teams to build reports and dashboards
• Conducting training on newly deployed MES solutions & technologies
• Shape the future of Digitalization by data integration and engineering of MES connectivity to the data platform
• An element of travel to smart factories within the SEA region

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or Statistics, etc.
• 7+ years' experience within manufacturing, MES, 4.0 transformation, semiconductor & factory automation
• Horizontal factory implementation & vendor solution experience is a necessity
• Technology stack; SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, TULIP MES, Scada platforms, Oracle, Unix, Linux, Six Sigma etc.
• Functional programming understanding in one or more of the following: Python, Java, .Net, HTML, SQL, C#, C++, VBA or other suitable languages
• An understanding of how AI/ML technologies will impact Smart Factory
