Manufacturing Planner (Chemical or Logistics) \xe2\x80\x93 Keppel Bay Tower [LKH]

Our client is chemicals Company focus on formulation, manufacturing and marketing of petroleum additives for lubricants and fuels with worldwide production and research facilities.
Currently they are sourcing for Contract Manufacturing Planner under 4 months agency contract.
Manufacturing Planner acts as main Focal Point for Global Supply Planning with the objective of avoiding last minute changes to the schedule, disruptions to Operations and inventory issues. Responsible for short-term (1-3 months) production planning, raw materials purchase and inventory management.
Working location: Keppel Bay Tower
Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Replenishment & purchase of Raw Materials from affiliates and 3rd parties or other assigned purchases
• Provide backup to the Production Scheduler and Planning team
• Process GSP Information to confirm plant capability
• Monitor inventory to meet demand and target
• Analysis of actual and forecast demand and Run planning reports needed
• Any additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirement:

• Understanding and exposure to Manufacturing, Supply Chain and 3rd Party Logistics operations
• Understanding of production planning process and its linkages with GSP network
• Planning, forecasting, root cause analysis, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to analytic tools and gain analytics skills through learning
• Communication and inter-personal skills
