We are looking for a Manufacturing Specialist to join our TCU White Cup Coffee Mixes Team. In this position, you will support or lead key CAT3 R&D projects with a high impact on the business. Manage the project in alignment with NPDI and Nestl\xc3\xa9 Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiative. Interact proactively with the other functions, especially the business lead and operations to ensure the overall project objectives are met. Manage projects in a timely fashion to deliver 60/40 winning product and commission new production line in accordance to business need. Maintain standards, support Factory operations, and contribute in ideation, development and industrialization of newly technologies.


A day in the life of...

• Maintain, transfer across the market(s) and develop the corresponding Engineering core Competence of his/her expertise, including Experts networking, mentoring, training and skills assessments
• Ensure Manufacturing Competence to support the Innovation & Renovation process, maintaining links for new products & technologies with Businesses, PTCs, R&Ds, Corporate Units, and protecting/developing/deploying technological know-how
• Optimise processes, product quality and safety
• Ensure Materials, Processes & Equipments in his/her area of Competence are safe for people, products and environment, in line with all corresponding local / Nestl\xc3\xa9 regulations, hygienic Engineering codes
• Provide specific manufacturing insight and support for the development and implementation of the GBS, through his/her Manufacturing Competence, whilst fostering high performance Operations. Support Markets, and develop key related documentation
• Support and implementation of the corresponding aspects of NCE/TPM
• Ensure Manufacturing support to the implementation of Market\xe2\x80\x99s plans, procedures and policies
• Represent the Group in all industrial, regulatory, technical, environmental, etc initiatives with relevance to the business and to his/her specific Competence

What will make you successful

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in the corresponding technical field, preferably in the Powder Mixes, Beverage manufacturing
• Successful deployment of new technologies or solutions in Factories
• Participation in the development of improvement with external Suppliers
• Recognised competence in his/her area of expertise (inside and outside Nestl\xc3\xa9 and Nestec)
• General Personnel Supervision experience (mainly on technical teams)
• Lead the development of manufacturing projects, including Majors, as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Lead the commissioning and start-up of technical equipment(s) and/or production line(s) or systems
• Participation in multi-disciplinary teams that focuses in process, product or packing optimisation/continuous improvement
• Experience or exposure to different environments (different businesses, factories, etc)
