Purpose of this role:
The role will determine the optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products from start-up, building the product line, through satisfactory production. This includes analyzing engineering design documents to establish manufacturing methods and processes to manufacture a component, creating conceptual sketches and initiating the design and building of required tooling.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Be the manufacturing primary point-of-contact for mass spectrometers technical problems.
Take corrective actions for mass spectrometers performance problems reported by Final Test Specialists and internal customers.
Provides training and certification to Final Test Specialist.
Provide root cause analysis for failure on E3 escalation instruments and any other parts that are returned from the Field to the Manufacturing.
Improve the First Pass Yield in Manufacturing by performing failure analysis/ Pareto charts and providing engineering solutions to address the common failures.
Support improvement in field quality, by taking inputs from GSS and the FSE on the installation and warranty failures. Introduce corrective actions in Manufacturing to address those field issues.
Continuously improve the Final Test process, by revising the Final test procedures to improve the efficiency in testing instruments and address all the quality issues.
Attend daily DRS speakers' corner.
Provide support to close CAPAs assigned to the team.
Work with other Engineering departments, QA, Product Development and R&D to implement corrective actions or engineering changes on existing products. Test the performance of existing products with engineering changes or upgrades to verify the performance and update test procedures if required.
Assist instrument installation in the field through site visit/WebEx if required.
NCMR disposition - investigation and root cause analysis for Electronics components.
ECO approval - review to ensure meets expectations.
ECO implementation - communication to the production.
Ownership to support the VS to achieve the set goals and objectives.
Drive improvement in FCT coverage.
Determine FRU test requirements.
FAE of Electrical/Electronic parts and software.
Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines
Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
3 years of field service or troubleshooting experience in an instrumentation company
Knowledge in product testing, PCBA failure analysis and software validation & verification
Fresh graduates with strong engineering background are welcome to apply
