Job Description

Responsibilities:



Manage the full claims process for marine claims, from notification through to settlement, ensuring all claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner. Assess and investigate claims to determine the cause, liability, and extent of damage or loss. This includes reviewing documentation, obtaining necessary reports, and coordinating with surveyors and adjusters as needed. Evaluate policy coverage and ensure that claims are processed in line with the terms and conditions of the insurance policy. Ensure accurate and comprehensive claims records are maintained in the system, including all relevant documentation, reports, and communications. Liaise with clients, brokers, and third-party providers to gather information, keep stakeholders informed, and resolve any issues related to claims. Coordinate with legal and technical experts where necessary, to assess the legal and technical aspects of complex marine claims.



Requirements:



Degree in Maritime Law (Business) or its equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience in marine claims, marine insurance, or related fields (e.g., marine logistics, transport, risk management).
