Job Description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Marine Technical Engineer:
Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily vessel operations, including coordination of vessel movements, documentation handling, and risk management.
• Ensure all port operations comply with applicable port authority and maritime regulations.
• Review and manage shipping and cargo documentation to ensure compliance with customs and international shipping requirements.
• Coordinate procurement activities such as issuing purchase requests and orders for vessel maintenance and repair needs.
• Monitor and track approved purchase requisitions and maintain accurate records.
• Support departments with processing claims related to demurrage, cargo discrepancies, and commercial matters.
• Compile and submit regular operational reports, including statistics on vessel performance, demurrage, and voyage summaries.
• Implement initiatives to improve vessel efficiency and minimize operational risks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and basic repairs on marine internal combustion engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and vessel mechanical components.
• Plan and coordinate crew deployment and onboard staffing for vessel operations.
• Manage the planned maintenance system (PMS), including accurate documentation and archiving of maintenance activities.xefxbbxbf

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of maritime regulations and international environmental standards.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in vessel operations, maintenance, or technical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with marine electrical systems and the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Willing to travel and adapt to working in dynamic and challenging environments, such as shipyards or offshore sites.
• Strong teamwork skills, time management, and the ability to work under pressure.xefxbbxbf

• Salary:xefxbbxbf Up to SGD 5,000 +AWS +VB (1 - 2 Months)
• Working Location: Bukit Batok
• Working Hours: xefxbbxbfMonday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm
