Their brand promise, Here for good, underlines their distinctive approach. The MDS Commercial Services Team is a broad scope commercial, compliance and vendor management team. This team partners with external vendors to support internal stakeholders and their data requirements. As a Spl'st, ALVM, your role is responsible and accountable for Global Market Data Services. You will play the role of a solution partner to internal businesses, utilising existing firm's subscriptions and services, and/or engaging relevant vendor/s on additional requirements, sourcing within SCM guidelines, and negotiating best price and cost allocations. You will track projects to maintain high quality standards and strive to work towards optimization of costs, mitigation of risks, and quality service delivery across all Business Units. Responsibilities . Engage and work closely with business partners, to understand their market data requirements . Leveraging existing subs and services for solutions . Representing internal stakeholders, working with external vendors for possible solutions and pricing . Working with SCM for vendor onboarding . Manage and monitor applications consuming market data. Setup an internal declaration process to minimise unauthorised usage and align to commercial policies in place to control and minimise exposure/risks. . Evaluate application requirement based on usage analysis and propose cost optimization solutions which can be best met by leveraging existing contacts or applications. . Coordinate all contract management tasks including the maintenance of contract activities, i.e. renewal alerts, cancellation notices and inventory updates for all new and renewed contracts. . Validate and reconcile data gaps in the market data inventory system and rectify the discrepancies. . Support the contract renewal process. . Identify and implement continuously enhancement efficiencies associated with inventory management such as INFOmatch monthly upgrades and process automation. . Participate in ad-hoc projects and collaborate with the team to deliver new initiatives. . Lead or participate in Business analysis activities like Desk reviews, Self-certifications, demand management as part of overall cost containment/reduction initiatives Requirements . 8 years Market Data industry experience with proven track record. . Knowledge and experience on market data inventory system, product comparative/gap analysis, product knowledge of the major Market Data vendors, and awareness of possible compliance issues that may arise by incorrect use or licensing of Market Data . Ability to building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. . Action oriented, customer focus
