General InformationCountry: SingaporeState: N/ACity: SingaporeOffice Location: 57 Mohamed Sultan Road - Sultan-Link #02-05 - - Singapore - -Date posted: 30-May-2024Business Function: SalesPosition Type: Full-Time/RegularDescriptionSteelcase is a globally renowned company dedicated to creating innovative and sustainable workplace solutions.We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional with a strong background in sales to join our team in Singapore as a Market Manager in Sales.As the Sales Manager\'s direct report, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and expand the Relationship and Sales segment, focusing on A&D, PM, GCC (Global Accounts), and AOB Corporate Clients (CRE).This involves generating leads in the market, maintaining a strong field presence, engaging stakeholders through Steelcase insights, utilizing WorkPlace Tools (WP+T), and promoting the brand by organizing industry events.Your role will require creating opportunity strategies, using the BOSS planner for SWOT analysis, developing action plans, and providing regular updates on activities and progress through Salesforce.Meeting sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be crucial, and you will achieve this by implementing Sales EQ techniques and leveraging our CRM system (Salesforce) while receiving Impact Coaching.In addition, you will be responsible for managing RFP tenders, collaborating with the legal department to review contracts and agreements as needed, ensuring successful project delivery, and collecting payments within specified timelines.It will be essential to meet deadlines and proactively provide feedback to stakeholders regarding design and specifications.

  • Identify and create sales opportunities
  • Retain existing clients, increasing sales and YoY profit
  • Implement Relationship sales tactics, including customer strategies to secure competitor business in major and key account portfolios
  • Manage A&D relationships: products being specified into RFP tender documents
  • Work with Brand Communications, Product Marketing to implement marketing campaigns and grow ancillary initiatives
  • Use "SalesForce" to track all opportunities, provide effective updates of performance and activities
  • Cooperate with other functions - Sales Suppport, Project Management, Finance to support growth of revenue and customer retention
  • Work with Pricing Team to implement margin improvement projects
  • Use the quick quote tools available - Quest
  • Accountable for RFP documentation submissions, achieving deadlines with support from Sales Support team/ PM/ Finance
  • Manage project mockups and client presentations
  • Walk through finished projects with Client and Project Manager (as required)
  • Ensure payments are collected on time (as required)
  • Provide competitive review on competition and CRE market trends to Sales and Team on a regular basis
